I heard it doesn’t work well on darker skin tones which sucks
I don’t thinks so, I’d rather deal with the deep cuts and stuff
And bandages are less expensive than surgery
It thinned my hair growth by about half after 5 sessions – but then again I didn’t ever do the 6th they say you need, because I got this incredibly awful (but thankfully temporary) skin disease not long after I went to the 5th session… I would guess it does work pretty well for most perople most of the time, but if I could make the decision again, I definitely wouldn’t do it. But you can make bank being an esthetician (and get free treatments), so maybe I’ll look into doing that someday.
I don’t think they’d still be in business if it didn’t work.
I’ve thought about it for underarms, but I get worried it’ll mess with my body and sweating (probably won’t but it’s a fear I have.)
My friend got it done and her hair is already grown back.
She’s hairy sooo who knows. ( Hahaha don’t think I’m a bad friend )
It does work. Remember it is permanent. It works better on dark hair, and you can use it anywhere on your body to remove hair forever.
I know a lady that had every hair below the neck done, and she loves it.
It works best on light skin with dark hairs. Hairs that are very light don’t work that well.
I was so bummed when I found out it won’t work on blond hair. :(
It drastically thinned out the hair on my best friend’s legs; however, it didn’t render her hair-free. She’s moderately satisfied, but would have preferred more for her investment. Again, it depends on the skin and hair color.
Laser hair removal does work but better on some than others for as to how many treatments you’ll need. Dark hair on pale skin works really easy, like 5 treatments or less. Dark hair on darker skin takes more visits and… laser hurts like nothing you can imagine :D Enjoy.
It was not painful for me. It is a lot less painful than plucking.
