How many question and answer sites have you participated in?
This is the one and only Q & A site I have ever belonged to, but it seems many here have belonged to plenty of other question and answer sites. How many have you been active on? Are you consistently active on more than one?

Well, if we count Fluther as a Q & A site, which I really don’t since it is so much more, 1.
Fluther is my first. Fluther is my one and only. Oh how I lurve Fluther!
Yahoo Answers (found it ridiculous after a while)
AiROW.com (it died due to some funding issues. But intellectually, I think it was dying way before that)
And now, Fluther
May this site last.
Only Fluther, and I lurve it and would never leave it.
(unless I die, or get banned, or you guys don’t want me here and I would be forced to leave)
Fluther took my Q&A virginity. I stay faithful to it, and it to me. It’s true lurve.
I got it right the first time and came to Fluther. =]
I’ve used Yahoo answers, but never took it seriously and it is not like this site at all. This is the first real Q&A site for me.
“that other site” and Fluther, both are/were exceptional.
I’ve been a member of two. The first introduced me to many new friends with great minds and promoted amazing discussions.
The second is Fluther.
I was a faithful, enthusiastic, high-profile member of Google Answers until its sudden demise in November of 2006, when Google shut it down. When Uclue came into being, giving a home to former Google Answers researchers, I celebrated. It’s a class operation with a lot of serious exchange of information, but I couldn’t afford the fees just for fun.
Later I became active on WikiAnswers, which started off well but was picked up by Answers.com and quickly became a ghetto. I left after a year’s activity and spent one month in the harsh and unpleasant climate of Askville. Disaffected Askvillians were migrating here, and I followed them in November of last year. Since then I have not once failed to collect my daily point for visiting two days in a row.
So I guess the answer is 5, counting this one.
Google Answers, Yahoo Answers, Expert Exchange, Askville, Fluther.
Only 1 , can anyone guess which one it is…... .?
Wis.dm and Fluther. Thank God for Fluther because the alternatives looked rather dreadful.
Ask MetaFilter and Fluther.
The very first site that got me hooked on Q and A’s was Bolt (which became Bolt2.com) which had tagbooks. That closed in 2007 and I joined (I think) two other sites that had a Q and A feature but didn’t stay with those very long. I then joined iThink (now Minekey) on Facebook which is more of an opinion site where someone states a believe and you have to say whether you agree or disagree and why. I left that one after the opinions became to wishy washy for my liking. I then joined wis.dm which I found enjoyable until that decided to close and here I am now. Hopefully Fluther will be going strong for a while because (as sad as it sounds) I need a Q and A site of some sort in my life!!!
Anyway, long story short, the answer is six.
One other and that was Yahoo. I hated that one and quit pretty quick. The people were rude and nasty! I love Fluther, no I lurve Fluther!
@smack What happened to AIROW?
As Barry White would say, ”(Fluther,) you’re my first, my last, my everything.”
This is it baby. My one and only.
@augustlan Oops, now why did I think you came from Askville?
@Marina The site mod decided he was spending too much time/money on the site, and he had grown tired of it. The site was put up for sale, but none of us in the community had the time or money (or the Java/internet/whateveritis skills) that was required.
AIROW really was a community, though – we were all very close (as close as you can get via the internet) and it really sucked when we could no longer share our opinions and discuss different conflicts. We’ve got a little reunion going on, here, though, which is good :)
Well, Yahoo Answers a loooooong time ago, and then there was Fluther.
I started out at the worst, Askville, and ended up at the best, Fluther.
There can be only one and Fluther is definitely where it’s at. But all of you already know that.
I am with @jonsblond. This was my first and will be my last.
Fluther is truly the shit.
@Marina I think I came around the same time as the Askville influx, but not with the Askvillians. I found my way here by reading an article about the site. I wasn’t even looking for a Q & A site, but I came and checked it out. I haven’t left since!
I stumbled upon fluther completely by accident, and I never would have searched out a Q&A site. But here I am, it is my first and I’m settling in quite nicely…
I have been on various Q & A sites, including some invitation only. I have won awards and prizes for my participation of several of them, and been featured user in blogs all over the world. I now spend the majority of my time between Fluther, blogging, and Answerbag.
@Marina You’re certainly one of the reasons I stayed. :)
You guys are making me faklempt.
@AstroChuck You don’t fool me. Stop that girl-on-girl fantasizing right now.
3… fluther is my TRUE love though…its my best 3 tentacled friend ive ever had!
fluther is truly the only one for me.
AiROW was great, then it was sold and the new owners flushed it down the crapper.
Dos. I kind of miss the more lengthy discussions though….
Yahoo Answers are kinda overrated. This will probably be my one and only Q and A site.
