I just started a question for the newest member: SuperMouse!

Also, upon rereading my previous congratulations for Mr. @dalepetrie, I felt as though there was something amiss. Why did I feel this way?

I got in the important information such as “Congrats” and “Dale” and ”!” but it seems as though this was not an apropros response for such a verbose and eloquent Flutherer.

Considering I knew right away when I saw a “NSFW” question from dalepetrie, I was fully expecting a long explanation detailing many different aspects of the sexual nature of his question, this short response to his arrival in the 10k club didn’t seem fitting.

I don’t always have time to read the wall of text that dale provides, but when I do it is always worth the experience. This has brought me to feel a certain admiration for a man of many thoughts and feelings. Always well-researched and full of pertinent information, dalepetrie provides a juxtaposition to the short and jovial comments of others.

So what is it that i am really trying to say?
Well, i think it can best be summed up with:

Let’s face it, no jelly’s posts are as immediately recognizable as this guys. Actually, there are several jellies with familiar patterns of style or vocabulary in their posts, so much so that if their avatar is just below the screen you would have a pretty good shot at guessing who the poster was, but with this guy, its a slam dunk. When my 24 inch monitor is totally filled with text (that I know before reading will be compelling, relevant and interesting, sometimes in a bizarre kind of way) with no avatar in sight and the avatar remains elusive as I scroll….and scroll…..and scroll, I know sure as shit that a single eyeball will soon be staring at me and challenging me, “so you got through it….so now what the fuck do you have to say to that, and, be prepared cuz I am poised to give more of the same in friendly follow-up or demanding debate….your choice, sucker.” How can you not lurve this guy? For your effort and your dedication, for your open and honest opinions and for sticking by your principles…CONGRATULATIONS @dalepetrie on your entry to the 10K Lurve Lounge. You just go poll everyone else up there on their words per lurve count…my money is on you bro’ and that has got to be the safest bet in history! See ya…..........wtf

WOW. I am almost in tears. I left my post for a couple hours to pick up a new pair of glasses and grab some lunch and I come back to the most unique, genuine and truly considered outpouring of gratitude I could ever want or hope for. All I can say is thank you all, it is all of you who have given me the lurve to reach this particular milestone. I’ll admit when I noticed about 12 hours ago or so that I’d reached this point I wondered when the congratulatory question would be posted and after a few hours of not seeing one, I’ll admit that even though in general, I am not a person who is greatly concerned with what other people “think” of me, I did have a moment of pause in considering that perhaps my overly verbose posts were perhaps merely tolerated. This conversation in my honor proves my fears to have been unfounded, and of course, being from a group of people whom I truly and genuinely respect and often even admire and at times am even genuinely awestruck by, is however both validating and humbling even for an opinionated individual such as myself. Again, thank you all for making this site rock so hard. I share my honor in the best possible company and it’s certainly an indicator that I can not imagine a better place for me to hang my verbal hat.

And I gotta give a special thanks to @jonsblond for the pancakes…perhaps you can get your husband to stop by with a side of frozen pussycat?
