Where does my money go if I donate to moveon?

Asked by serenityNOW (3643points) July 22nd, 2009 from iPhone

I want to help, but my money is tight. Most importantly I want to contribute to pass the presidents health care reform.

Into the pockets of the wealthy.
Put your money into educating yourself, learning how the system works, keep it in your pocket for starters. The powers that be are running the show are calling the shots.. Unless you have millions to kick in, it will just get lost in someone’s expense account.

By and large? Administrative salaries. If you want to donate money to a charity or non-profit a better choice may be the Salvation Army or the Red Cross.

If you can’t donate financially donate your time, and get real results immediately. Volunteer, maybe in healthcare, and you’ll make a difference whether you donate or not, and whether the bill is passed and works or not.

I second @jpasq03 The best way to make things happen is to go to the source, you don’t need money.
