Do you think there can be only one chosen one?
was thinking about it the other day after going to see harry potter 6. i mean if you are convinced that harry potter is the chosen one aren’t you ruling out; Luke Skywalker, Frodo, Jesus (i guess?), Neo (Matrix). and many more. so also WHO IS THE CHOSEN ONE?

Milo here; I am, of course.
Sheesh. I just wanna know who keeps choosing MEN?
MIlo here: I am not a man.
Moses? Arthur? Lyra? Jeanne d’Arc?
I think it depends on who’s choosing. Go ahead and choose one yourself, @ilvorangeiceblocks.
Um… How about the greatest chosen of them all… Buffy?!
@KatawaGrey can’t BELIEVE I forgot Buffy!!! She’s definitely the shiniest chosen one. :)
Chosen by whom? Since lots of different beings are choosing, there are lots of chosen.
there can be a lot of chosen ones
I choose you pikachu!
Who is The Chosen One.
Long Live Who.
I say it’s the omnipresent and omnipotent hipster of eponymous-ness. He da’ one.
I’m putting my two cents in for Buffy as well. I think, I can’t be sure, but I think she’s the only one who really, casually goes as “the Chosen One”.
Why stop at choosing one? Luke Skywalker had a sister, I say choose two and have a backup. Better still, choose one and then clone him/her. Imagine an army of Jesuses (Jesi?) marching across seas and feeding themselves on a single loaf of bread
@jmah yeah, probably~. thanks.
but, on the other hand, i don’t have pubes in my avatar.
isnt Anakin really the chosen one?
@willbrawn nah. once everyone found out he’s a whiny bitch, they ditched him.
@willbrawn Indeed, Anakin was the chosen one, not Luke. I wish I had been the chosen one. I mean, Princess Amidala was HOT!
@filmfann i totally agree, and is still actually.
Well, if there can only be one, he must be Scottish.
What they don’t tell you is that they’re all the same person.
@Capt_Bloth No, reincarnation. If you’ll notice, all of the “Chosen one” stories occur at different times.
Well, Jesus is the chosen one, since he came back from the dead.
Okay, Harry Potter did too. And Frodo kind of did. And Anakin didn’t look so good after Obi-Wan finished with him. I think Neo had a “He’s dead, Jim” moment too.
Pattern?
@filmfann: Buffy came back from the dead too. Do you think that’s a requirement?
@KatawaGrey Twice. Over-achiever. And her TITLE is “the Chosen One”. Which none of those other guys have going for them. Neo is The One. Harry Potter is The Boy Who Lived. Frodo is the Ring Bearer. And Buffy is the slayer, aka, the Chosen One.
@EmpressPixie : Mad lurve. Although, I believe Buffy actually died three times. In the end of season six, she flatlines before Willow comes into the hospital and pulls the bullet out.
@KatawaGrey: Good point.
Okay, I really only watched until she died the second time. After that, I was going away to school and I super loved the ending so I haven’t seen seasons six or seven and just have the general idea of what happened.
@EmpressPixie: I would suggest watching the last 2 seasons. They are very well done, though much darker than the other seasons.
You’re making it sound like Buffy died more than my computer crashes…
@boots I just can’t see Jesus and Neo being the same person, or Frodo and Anakin for that matter. I think they are different people. But, as @EmpressPixie pointed out, Buffy is the “Chosen One”
Reincarnation. Do any of you realize that you’ve had thousands of lives, that you have been male and female, and even androgynous, in every religion, in every culture, on every continent?
There are millions of chosen ones.
