For men (or women), what place do you want to see before dying?
basically designed for the men flutherers, but women can jump in too. what place or scene do you want to make sure you see before the last minutes to an hour of sacred expiration? an island? a sunset? a child? the scene from a mountaintop?

My family gathered around me.
@Blondesjon yup, that and a sunset with thunder in the background. water, trees and mountains too…
I’d rather be living life. When I go, I want it to be without warning and “lights out” quick.
Just curious, but why was this question originally directed towards men?

Well,Vedi Napoli e poi Muori.
“See Naples and die.” It was a phrase coined during the reign of the Bourbons of Naples, considered by historians to have been the city’s Golden Age. Until its annexation to the Kingdom of Italy in 1861, the Kingdom of the Two Sicilies was the wealthiest and most industrialized of the various Italian states.
Naples was the third most populous city of Europe (after London and Paris), and certainly one of the most opulent. Even today, a visit to Naples would not be complete without seeing the royal palaces in and near the city.”
I wouldn’t mind seeing something incredibly beautiful made by man, like the Taj Mahal for instance, or something breathtaking that Mother Nature has provided for us such as Iguazu Falls. These are just 2 examples of dozens of things I’d like to see before I pass on.
Nothing really, this place earth as beautiful places it might have, nothing ever will compare to what is in eternal dimension with God for true believers of his.The Word of God (The Holy Bible) says that heaven is something no man has heard, seen, been able to conceive what God has prepared/created for those who love Him .
@efritz no special reason, other than i am male asking the question. for women, replies may be different. i could have just made it exclusively for men because i think we both have different outlooks on life and death. men may want to go out much more different than women, you know? it’s fluther. go with the flow…
I also would love to see Alaska, Canada, Russia and Romania!
Ever since I was a kid I’ve had this freaky fascination with Pompeii. I think I saw it on In Search Of or something and it always stuck with me. That’s definitely on my list.

The new Israeli_Palestine State living in harmony for then I know the world will be safe for my kids.
I wouldn’t mind dying suddenly just as my two-year around the world cruise docks back at my home port, but OTOH, I’d rather not die at all. If I have to, then the way my MIL went was fine. She was watching TV, made a little sound and was gone.
I want to dive the Truk lagoon North of New Guinea.
Operation Hailstone lasted for three days, with an American bombardment of the Japanese wiping out almost anything of value – 60 ships and 275 airplanes were sent to the bottom of the lagoon.
I want to see Earth – all of it, from the Moon. I want to see people teaching their children that values such as mutual respect for humans and generosity are more important than life itself. I just want to die knowing there is nothing more for me to do.
