I don’t know why that is but if I buy a pack on orange tic-tacs, I’m lucky if they last the day. I think they have opium in them.
we were just talking about that in the chat room :P
Makes it easier to eat the whole box in one mouthful.
@Simone_De_Beauvoir We’re all friends here.
Admitting a problem with orange tic-tacs is the first step to recovery.
I don’t know why, but there is definitely something suspiciously appealing about the orange ones.
Because they suck.
I buy my peppermint tic-tacs by the six-pack.
Do you have any handy? Are the ingredients different?
They are also the only ones that make me want to inhale a whole pack all at once! My fave!
because it’s fucking tasty.
I think it’s because they have more sugar then the others.
ok fine, serious answer.
Most other flavors of Tic-Tac contain two ingredients that Orange ones do not:
Carnauba Wax, and a certain type of Rice Starch.
The wax is often used as a heavy gloss for things such as automobiles, pottery, as well as sweets. When set it becomes very shiny, and hardens.
Rice Starch is often used in the white center of a tic tac. it maintains a very grainy texture when added to most foods.
Orange Tic Tacs have neither of these, so naturally they’re soft.
as for why the makers chose to do this, I have absolutely no idea.
(aboynamedboobs)....first of all your wrong, read the ingredients on the back of the orange pack….both ingredients are listed…..come up with another answer
