How can I find the right job for me?
I’m unhappy at work, good at what I do, but perhaps not fit for the standard office hierarchy bullshit. I know some people are happy with their jobs, it can’t just be me. How do I sort out what I’m good at AND what is a healthy, supportive environment to be in?

First, what training do you have? Do you just dislike your job or do you like the type of work in general?
Do you have the money to go back to school?
You can find a career counselor and go to them for some help.
I am probably having a similar situation as you now. I am unhappy with the people around me cause I cannot get along with them. I am fresh grad and I started working a couple of months ago in a foreign land. Being fresh, I have very little idea on the job that I am in and I rely on others a lot. I face racism remarks occasionally and I get comments about my work attitude behind my very often.
The only reaosn why I am staying is because of my boss. He put trust on me and appreciate my effort. Nothing beats the courage he has given me since i started working. and for that, i promise to work hard to meet his expectation.
If you are good at what you doing, I think you can make use of that skill that you have. Be proactive and offer your colleugue a hand if they need it. You will need to be positive as well.
There are planety of career evalutation tests on the internet, or an employment agency would probably be glad to give you an evaluation.
Keep in mind that when you work for someone else, rather than being self-employed, you will still have to conform to whatever the employer is paying you to do, and cannot expect the kind of freedom you would have on your own.
I don’t recall who the author of the quote is, but I always think about it: when you’re happy with your job, you add 5 days to your week.
More info is required before we can suggest anything other than “look up career evaluation tests online”.
