It looks like a mix breed. Definitely some German Shepard in there. Maybe even a bit of boxer.

I can’t really tell the size from the picture…

It could be some kind of terrier, but the lack of legs in the image really hurts, guessing wise.

It’s got the face of a Lab to my mind, because of the shape of the muzzle and the eyes, and the smile. The mottled brown-and-white on the chest and belly looks Australian Shepherd-ish, and the overall look and coloration reminds me of Boxers. Just guessing though.

I’m thinking part Australian Cattle Dog.

Looks like a Basenji to me.

Here is a picture of an Australian Cattle dog mixed with a German Shepherd. I’d say its pretty close.

Looks quite accurate @kheredia :)

A cuddly one.

Definitely GSD ears but the rest is hard to say, although it does look like the dog keredia showed. @kheredia are they positive that is shepherd and aussie, or is it an educated guess?

You can have dna testing done if you really want to know.

Looks like a Boxer-German Shepherd mix to me.

I agree with @jmah. I really don’t notice the resemblance to the cattle dog. It doesn’t have any of the markings these dogs have.

I’m not an expert, just personal opinion having owned a red heeler and two blue heeler-black lab mix dogs.

@jonsblond I see a cattle dog mostly in the red speckled chest, the pointed ears, the “eyebrows” (for lack of a better term), and the white bit on the muzzle. My dog, Bleu, has similar traits. (He’s a puppy there and hasn’t quite gotten his speckles… or lost his puppy fuzz.)

Edit: I’m also no expert.

@jonsblond Thanks! I’ve also got a Heeler-Lab-Border Collie mix. Best dogs ever. Both of them.
