General Question

What was it i saw last night, early this morning ?
Early this morning ( 28th July ) i wish i had a damn telescope , between the hours of 1am and 1:45 am there were three satellites over head visible to the naked eye . The 1st came from West to South and was as bright as Jupiter , < that’s were i lost track of it then 30 seconds later following the same path another followed . This was not as bright but could still be seen with the naked eye it also vanished around the same place when my eye couldn’t follow anymore , the 3rd came a different path S/SW to S/SE at around 1:45 am it was just as bright as the last one i have no clue what they were as i don’t have a scope yet . That is something i have to invest in getting , even spaceweather.com’s satellite tracker said the day before there was to be NO fly overs for a week , how could they get it so badly wrong….
I know it wasn’t birds or helicopters / airplanes there was not a flashing light and was no sound , plus they were tooooo high and didn’t follow the path normal taken by them here . Will i ever find out what they were………….
Directs are a guesstimate as i didn’t have a compass i just know my garden looks south , and worked it from that Jupiter was in full view of the back windows .
I am in North East Scotland , i wish i had a telescope
