Do you believe his death started a conspiracy theory?

It’s absurd. He took drugs willingly. He died from it. It may be wreckless endangerment leading to manslaughter by the doctor, but it isn’t murder.

I believe his death was caused by too much anesthesia given by that doctor. I’m beginning to think that Michael Jackson was indeed addicted to anesthesia and probably requested the amount. At this time, I think his death was accidental but there is no evidence to support the theory that he was murdered.

You can always make a conspiracy theory in relationship to someone famous…I don’t think he was murdered.

“Murder” assumes deliberate intent, which I don’t think was present. What I think is more of a possibility is that his doctor was, in essence, an employEE of Jackson’s. As such, I can see Jackson demanding the drug and the quantity of the drug from the doctor, possibly even threatening to fire the physician. Maybe MJ threatened to have a layperson administer the drug if the doctor refused so that the physician, in order to best HELP MJ, did it himself, but it may have killed him nevertheless.

Physicians take an oath NOT to do this sort of thing under ANY circumstances, however, entertainers using drugs is nothing new. I suspect many do. And to find doctors willing to do this for money or even for bragging rights should surprise no one. And I suspect, MJ did MANY favors for the doctor as well, such that the doctor felt he owed him.

No, I don’t believe that he was murdered. It seems that he had several doctors who he could go to to get what he wanted. If one didn’t give it to him another would. A couple weeks ago on GMA, they showed a picture of him 2 years ago sitting in a chair with his pants legs pulled up. He had a black sore on his right leg bigger than a softball. They zoomed in on his ankles & he had needle tracks all over them. He’d been abusing drugs for YEARS. A report I heard yesterday by one of the paramedics who responded to the call said he didn’t even recognize Jackson when he got there. He said he looked like an old man. He was a walking drug store, but as far as being murdered, no. He did that all to himself.

People on drugs can’t think straight. The doctors were willing participants because they saw $$$. Too bad that they’ve lost their ‘ATM’ now.

Haha no, everytime a celebrity dies people always assume they were murdered.

Who cares? Stop talking about Michael Jackson already…..

Even the conspiracy sites aren’t making a case for murder, but it seems more evident that he was surrounded by manipulators and leeches while he was alive.

@MrGeneVan I could not agree more!

@mrgenevan, you nailed it, in my opinion.

I believe, if anything at all, he did it to himself. Take a step back and look at the life this guy led. I really don’t even need to go that deep into detail, from the word “go” he was constantly in the spotlight, constantly bombarded by fans, paparazzi (sp?), and investigators trying to pin child molestation charges. Do I think he was innocent? To be truly honest, yes, but that’s a whole different ballgame.

What I think we need to do here is stop picking at this story. He’s dead and he needs to just be allowed to be dead. This country has FAR bigger fish to fry and the president may feel bad that he’s dead, but in the words of the America’s most trusted reporter, “that’s great, now fix the economy.”

Suicide if anything.

I honestly can’t find it within myself to care, aside from caring about the principle that criminals ought to be brought to justice.

Michael Jackson was a train wreck spectacle when he was alive. Can we let him rest in peace?

Blondesjon's avatar

Yes he was.

By a smooth criminal.

thank you i’ll be here all week.

Bluefreedom's avatar

No, Michael Jackson was not murdered but John F. Kennedy was and Lee Harvey Oswald had help doing it. Now that’s a conspiracy that will never die.

Zendo's avatar

@Bluefreedom It seems Oswald had quite a lot of help, from Cubans, Secret Service, and the Mafia. Oswald was just a lame patsy. The conspiracy is most obvious when you read the Warren Report.

tiffyandthewall's avatar

the more appropriate question isn’t how he died, but if he died…and if he did, will he stay dead? hmm.

but really, i agree with @cwilbur completely.

Bluefreedom's avatar

@Zendo. I tend to agree but there are people out there who still believe Oswald was a “Lone Assassin” who fired “Magic Bullets”. The Warren Commission was one of the worst travesties of justice and deception ever perpetrated against American citizens.

Zendo's avatar

@Bluefreedom It is a shame so many were bamboozled and fleeced by the powers that be. But as I understand it, most people simply don’t want to rock the boat, don’t care, and don’t want to jeopardize their families by speaking out.

How on Earth could JFK been hit by one bullet, and then the governor in the front seat be hit the same bullet over 3 seconds later!!??

Bluefreedom's avatar

@Zendo. You’re preaching to the choir, my friend. I know exactly how you feel.

reijinni's avatar

Now you’re making it to sound like doctor-assisted suicide.
