Internet videos (hulu, youtube) on my old Analog TV?

Asked by billwarch (4points) July 28th, 2009

How do I watch Internet videos (hulu, youtube, etc) on my old Analog TV with just a cable input?. I have a laptop with s-video but old tv doesn’t, and I have a tivo series 2 routed thru an old VCR.

If it just has a cable input, go to radio shack and see if you can find a thing called a “modulator”—this takes a video & audio input (maybe even find one with Svideo input) and will modulate it onto an FM signal, that you can then plug in through the cable input.

Agreed. Better price can be found on newegg.com though and Radio Shack knows squat normally. Plug your laptop or other computer directly to the tv (not through the vcr) and use the tv as an external monitor if at all possible. Then use firefox or the new hulu application they developed and enjoy!
