Today we were featured on Lifehacker and we have had an influx of great questions from new members.
Who wants to help me welcome them?

that’s where I’m from!!!!! WOO HOO
Ooh, me.
I’m a (diehard) fan of the Gawker blog network (particularly Kotaku and io9) and know that most commenters are quite intelligent, eloquent and insightful.
So far, all of the questions I’ve seen today are fantastic. I welcome you.
I kiss you.
Welcome! I promise you’ll never want to leave here.
@eambos There have been so many questions today, I missed that one. Thanks for the link!
Welcome. I read Lifehacker often. But I never bother to comment.
@johnpowell Cuz you’re wack attack
I’d also like to point out that the original article did not point to the communal aspect of Fluther (the founders swear it isn’t a community website, don’t listen to them. they don’t know what they’re talking about). Stay on here for a few days and you’ll start to realize what I mean. Enjoy.
I have absolutely no idea who you people are – but I’d never tell ya to get off my lawn.
Welcome to Fluther. Come…swim with the jellies.
Yup I always read Lifehacker, love it, saw the post about Fluther and thought well worth at least looking at, been on here for about 4 hours, and already starting to really enjoy it!
Welcome Lifehackers
Sorry about the name confusing in that link from above…
I was almost about to post one of those questions, but eambos was quicker. So I guess I read lifehacker religiously.
Welcome anyhow. Fluther will now steal your life away.
Not really, but you’ll be pretty addicted after a while.
@dverhey You had it right the first time.
The sooner you give in, Hackers, the easier it will be. Let it penetrate you. Let it in you.
Let it be you.
@eambos Sorry if I repeated your welcome- I was getting lost in who I had welcomed and thought one big thread would get them all!
Welcome to Fluther, hope you enjoy your stay!
heh, I’m in the same boat as Point5r. This seems like a cool place, and I get to make use of some of my crazy random knowledge!
Don’t mean to be rude or anything, but if you’re planning on sticking around a while, it’s better to change to one of your own avatars. Lots of the default ones can be really confusing. Or at least to me. Correct me if I’m wrong.
@BhacSsylan I just read something you wrote…about the hot ice. I love the way you ended it…with the warning not to learn chemistry from movies. Very wise, new Fluther jelly, very wise!
Lifehacker changed my life
Welcome!
dig around in the topics and add your 2ยข. I (for one) enjoy when old post pop up!
@cak heh, i’m glad you liked it. I do aim to please ^_^
A warm welcome to everyone from Lifehacker! “You’re going to like it here. I guarantee it.” (I swear I’ve heard that line from a commerical somewhere.)
@BhacSsylan I’ll be watching for useless knowledge, it’s my favorite kind. :)
@Russter Fluther changed my life. I hope you like it here. Welcome!
I’m from Lifehacker!
And I gotta say that this is a really cool site; much better than Yahoo answers or anything like that.
@FrogOnFire Ugh, i second that comment on Yahoo answers. Definitely seems like a better setup (and community) here.
Yahoo Answers has no moderation. Fluther does. That alone makes Fluther better.
Wilkommen, Bienvennue, Welcome!
We need a song to celebrate! Just change the key proper noun to ‘Fluther’ when appropriate.
Of course, we’re not cheesy and sleazy as that (at least, not all the time), but you get what I mean
Welcome to the collective! Enjoy. :)
Try not to suggest any changes.
I have a Random Question thing. I use it all the time when I am bored and want to find random old questions.
@johnpowell: That should be incorporated into the site. The Fluther Shuffle.
That was the inspiration for the ‘random’ command on the flutherbot.
I’m bookmarking this page.
Greetings and salutations. We welcome you with open testicles tentacles.
AC beat me to the greetings and salutations bit… so Welcome all ye Hackers to our humble little community!
P.S. try to keep your distance from both @AstroChuck ‘s tentacles AND testicles… both will sting you
I’m from lifehacker and i love this site already. i just hope that i keep up with it and not give up, like every other initiative in my life.
Welcome :D I came to fluther after a site called wis.dm shut down and the jellies are great here.
Welcome Lifehackers! Take your coats off and stay awhile – I think you’ll find you like it here!
I just realised that the link on my answer was faulty. D’oh! Here’s the correct one instead. Enjoy!
My nematocysts are your nematocysts. Enjoy the Fluther.
We have a lot more newbies today too! Fluther is rockin’
@Dog :: Don’t come a’knockin.
Lifehacker keeps me relatively informed. :)
@derekpaperscissors It looks like a pretty cool site. When I have more time, I’m going to go digging around there.
@augustlan Yup, for most GTD, productivity, and computer related stuff, I usually head over there and search before asking here. Good articles, members are pretty informative too based from their comments.
