If I buy one song on iTunes, then I buy the album it's on, I won't end up paying twice, right?

I’m pretty sure I read somewhere that if you buy one song on iTunes, then buy the album on iTunes later, they’ll deduct the price of the first song, so that you don’t end up paying twice. That’s still true, right?

what happened to the complete this album feature?

Its been a long time since I bought just a song, but in the past, I took advantage of the “complete the album” opportunity that jp references (tho I really don’t know if it is still offered)
PS: Actually, its been a long time since I bought music from iTunes….Amazon gets my download business, and, of course, it still ends up in my iTunes (and Roxio) library

So, I don’t actually see anything that says “complete my album” on the particular album i’m thinking of buying (i only bought the 1 song 5 minutes ago, i didn’t realize the rest was so good). all the buttons i see just say “buy this album”. do you think the feature is still in effect or no?

If you open up the iTunes Store, on the right you should see a box called “QUICK LINKS” which has a link called “Complete My Album” on the bottom. Give that a try.
