never really paid attention to it, if I had to guess, maybe he’s setting his stop clock, he’s got X amount of time so it might just be how he makes sure he’s not taking too much time.
At this point, it’s just a thing that he’s done for almost 30 years (???!!!). Biff will let him know how he’s doing on time, believe me.
It is getting stale a bit, but people like familiarity. Dave is not a Hollywood hawk so he relates more to the average working stiff.
