Do you think we exist simultaneously on/in different dimensions?

I think we do, partly because of something I heard Deepak Chopra talk about once.

He was talking about the mind and the soul and discussed a case where someone is declared clinically dead. In that case, the body’s functions have ceased. But if the mind lives in the brain, and the brain no longer works, where did the mind go? In a dead person, this wouldn’t matter, but sometimes people are revived from being clinically dead. If the person’s brain wasn’t working, then where was his mind? Where did it go? How did it come back?

I know the above sounds like new age mumbo-jumbo, especially to a person who believes in the scientific method like myself, but I have to admit that this line of thinking has me wondering.

Do we even exist at all in the first place?

There could be. I suppose.
But I doubt it. I strongly suspect that there is that which is ‘unique’ about each of us.
Take you for instance, there can’t be any hairdos as “Bulbous” as yours!

Check out the Many Worlds Theory, it’s pretty similar to this except it states that there are an infinite number of parallel universes, and whenever we make a choice, say, to have water or soda, the universe splits in two, one where you chose water and one where you chose soda. Theoretically, anything that can happen does happen in a parallel universe.

I most certainly believe this. Because if in the future humans discover time travel, don’t you think we’d have seen someone from the future visit us in this time? Well they probably have but since they’ve altered their own time line, it STAYS their time line, therfore we still only live in OUR time line.

I know that is a crappy explanation, but I read it somewhere.
