take the train up to macchu picchu (takes less time than the inca trail.) and go to pisac, to the market and the indian restaurant that the hippie lady runs.

yes! Also, there are hotsprings in aguas calientes...not sure if they are open at night anymore but there's nothing like bathing in hot springs under the stars.

also, in cuzco itself, get away from the main square and check out the local markets where the non-tourists go. Hey--and beware, when I was in aguas calientes (5 years ago) they didn't have any ATMs, so take out enough cash before you go!

Cuzco, however, will have a ton of ATMs, restaurants catering to travelers, etc, so no need to worry about finding what you need in Cuzco.

Macchu Picchu for sure. You can also go white water rafting on the river leading there. It was awesome!

There are ruins on the hill above Cuzco called sacsayhuaman (sounds like "sexy woman") that are impressive. Also, if you take the train to aguas calientes and macchu picchu, you can save a lot of money by taking the bus to ollatytambo (?) first and catching the train there. Ollatytambo is a cool little town as well. . . the oldest continuosly inhabited town in the americas, with much traditional incan architechture and city design still preserved.
