If you could pick the next "Super Hero" movie what would it be?
If you had the chance to pick the next super hero movie what would the movie be about. Batman again, another Superman, or maybe a lesser know superhero like the Green Lantern.
Let me know what you think.

We need a Buffy movie with the cast of the TV series. That would be EPIC.
Green Lantern is already in production, as well as another Batman and possibly another Superman.
I’d love to see either a Flash movie or a Tim Burton rendering of Arkham Asylum: A Serious House on Serious Earth
Not a super hero genre but I think Tim Burton could do a good job with DC’s “Death” series.
Astro Chuck is a super hero, just ask anyone on Fluther., He should have his own movie. His powers? The ability to Fluther on his iPhone while delivering the mail.
Ant Man. Because I want to see someone actually try to pull that off.
My second pick (for the same reason) is Arm Fall Off Boy.
I loved the movie Rocketeer so a sequel would be nice.
I think I would go with Moon Knight. He hardly ever gets a fair shake.
Cloak & Dagger
Power Man & Iron Fist
And I would really like to see another (well done) Daredevil movie.
@cprevite First, they would need to make a first (well done) Daredevil movie.
@janbb Yes! DangerMouse! I think it would make a great animated super hero movie.
I love Batman
Never gets old!
Not sure about superheroes, but..
Neil Gaiman’s Sandman series would be EPIC animated.
@Thujone And Bowie could play Lucifer as he was born to do.
@aprilsimnel THIS. The lead singer of Paramore also reminds me eerily of Death. I loved Lucifer’s character, it’s only fitting that he should go out sitting on a beach. Beachin’!
@filmfanb: Yes. That’s what I meant. A re-do on the daredevil movie.
The Archie and Jughead movie.
The Sentry wouldn’t be too bad or Black bolt, two of the lesser known ones that I really liked as a kid, both were pretty bad ass, Sentry was even a schizophrenic, which I think would be really fun to play with as a director.
IMDB has Elfquest as being in production. I’m surprised it hasn’t been made earlier.
ROM the Space Knight should be a movie, too. Give that old franchise a kick in the pants.
I vote for the Flash. He’s been my favorite since childhood (but my mom threw out all my old comics).
It’s time we had an outed GAY superhero. The way Superman ran into a phone booth to change, he would keep running in and out until he gets his outfit just right. He could get his super power when a radioactive meteor crashes into the Ikea store he’s in?
@Quagmire Instead of a phone booth, he would use a closet. He wouldn’t have a cape, but a hanky hanging out of his back pocket. I’ve put too much thought into this…or not enough
What about Justice League so with all of them? Now that would be epic.
Buffy, of course.
Death is a great idea as well.
I’ve also always wanted a good Catwoman movie.
@shrubbery if you made it a high budget movie, and stopped casting scrubs for the main roles like they did with The Watchmen and Superman Returns, it could be a pretty kick ass movie, especially if they made it super violent and super rough and scratchy, it’d be really hard to do that though without making it seem like they were trying to one up X-men which all of them sucked by the way, that whole franchise is a disappointment…
@filmfann the first one was decent, didn’t like the rest though, especially the last one about wolverine.
I used to like the comics a lot when I was young, and most of the movies don’t follow the comics what so ever, so that probably has a part in it
I like the Justice League idea.
The problem with all these super hero movies is that the 1st film always spends most of the time on the character’s origin and the last 30 minutes has all the plot.
Most of us, we know most of the comic book characters by now. We don’t need all the back story. What we want is primary story. We know Batman’s out for revenge, we know Superman came from an alien world, we know Green Lantern has the ring, the backgrounds are all covered already. I want a Justice League film where it just throws us into the middle of an active story right away and doesn’t stop until the end.
They’ve tried to put the Justice League on the big screen. Unless one actually comes out in 2011, I think the project is dead.
@filmfann in all fairness the second and third were over all pretty bad, didn’t really have to compete with much :P
After the success of the first one, they announced that there would be a total of 6 films.
@filmfann Looking at the quality of the third one, I wonder if that was a bit over-optimistic.. I sort of enjoyed the second one, though. Doc Ock was a great character.
I would love to see “The Infinity Gauntlet” as a series. I think it could be done as a trilogy. It would be EPIC. Wait ten years and you won’t have to worry about back story for most of the Cast.
