@emilyrose well, there’s no quick route to somewhere fun to shop. it’s a bit of a hike anywhere. JFK used to have a good amount of stores in it, but i don’t know about now.

You could grab a cab and go to Rockaway Beach or tour the Queens Botanical Gardens. Perhaps arrange with the cab driver to pick you back up at a certain time.

Well, I just noticed this question was asked exactly 6 hours ago, so by now you’re long gone (we hope) but for future trips, The Air Train at JFK can get you into Manhattan (Penn Station) in 35 minutes. From there, the world’s city’s your oyster…

So what did you end up doing?
