The pilot manually waggles the wings using the plane’s steering.
Ailerons are hinged flaps on the tailing edge of Airplane Wings. When a pilot is steering left the left wings aileron is hinged up deflecting the left wing down as the right wings aileron is hinged down deflecting the right wing down. It helps to remember a flying airplane is constantly moving forward through the air, like sticking your hand out of the window in a moving car.
