I got a WordPress blog with my website but no user name or password. My host doesn't know either. How can I get this blog up and running?

http://www.GaryDaleCearley.com/blog is the page. I tried asking this on Twitter but was pointed to some highly technical pages that I couldn’t make heads nor tails of. Can someone tell me a simple, easy solution?

I think they email you (or whoever set up the blog) the credentials…
the username for most of mine is “admin” but idk if thats the default or just what I made it.
It depends on who installed the blog. If you did, your best bet is to reinstall it and pay closer attention to your password this time. If it was somebody else, ask them. Otherwise, there’s a lost password link on the link that @Elle gave you. Best of luck.
Some hosting companies have an application that installs the stuff for you. If it does that then it should step you through creating an account that will be used as the admin account.
GoDaddy does this for sure.
Install it yourself. Just drop the files on the server and go to youdomainhere.com/install
It will walk you through it.
Your host has to know. There’s no way they can’t know. They’re the ones who set it up! Plus they should be able to get deep into the WP database and manually reset the password if they really can’t find it for you.
Usually Wordpress comes with a randomized chracter password and the username is admin, but that’s when I’ve set it up manually.
Before bugging your host again though, try clicking on the “Lost your password?” link on the bottom of the link @Elle has given you.
