Should our profiles have a place to link to our blogs?

They asked us to put the badges on our websites that link to our profiles here. Shouldn’t that go both ways?

Why should we have a special place to do such a thing? We could always just post the link on our profile.
It looks like you can. After the allowing the javascript thing I assumed they got more aggressive.
Fuck it.. Never mind.
edit :: but it would be nice if it was in its own DIV.
Hi Zendo. Your response was really helpful~. Save that shit for when people ask about farts.
That was an incredibly intelligent rejoinder. LOL… You sound like a second grader. In kindygarden even.
I guess they think people might not want others to follow them on tumblr and such like .
It could also bring clutter to your profile, or bring fluther to a new level they don’t wanna go into .
Edit: I would like to have the option at least .
@Zendo :: Thanks for using words this time.
No No, thank you for pretending to be polite.
This will just get ugly. So lets just agree to ignore each other.
@sandystrachan :: It would be opt in. Like you would have to add your info here. I send traffic to Fluther. They could send some my way. (and i don’t have ads on anything I do.)
Can’t see why not, although you can sort of do this now by adding a link to your site into your bio as you already know (but others may not).
@dynamicduo :: A few months ago we found a huge security hole in the profile page.
I had assumed that any html was banned after they fixed it.
I wouldn’t really mind a little widget or link that you could turn on or off, but I wouldn’t exactly want to go to a profile and get hit by a bunch of links to people’s last.fms, facebooks, or myspaces. It would have to simple and elegant.
Now I will piss Andrew off. But this isn’t bad.
@johnpowell No. That could work. Once people figure out what all the icons are…
@johnpowell That isn’t cluttered like i thought it would have been , something like that here would go down nicely . Don’t know if everyone would OPT into it
I think bendrew could pull something off that looked good. It would be dope to have Twitter, last.fm and flickr and a bunch of other stuff. It is all RSS.
i agree it would be a cool idea. but if it’s done, it should be very minimal.
