Is there life after foot surgery?

The arch on my right foot is falling and I also have severe arthritis .
I am thinking about having surgery so I can walk with out pain, is this type of surgery usually successful?

I would talk to your doctor. They have hopefully seen x-rays and can offer way better advice than people on the internet.
