Does anyone know a good logo designer for hire?

However, I don’t do design contests as I find they cheapen the industry I work in by eliminating the design process, encouraging plagiarism, lowering fees to an unacceptable level, and asking for a significant amount of work on spec.

But I do appreciate the thoughts. :)

It didn’t register that it was a contest until you pointed that out actually.

While I would normally agree with your assessment, I think there are exceptions like Non-profits.

I do logos as well, but my website is down for maintenance right now, so my point is moot.

I also missed out on the contest aspect. Sorry.
