You can insert or embed video files into office documents. But, first you need to download it.
If you haven’t got any software to download the video, play it from start to end. Go to Temporary internet files folder. It’s here on windows XP.
C:\Documents and Settings\(Your User Name)\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files
Sort files by type or size and find your video file there. Copy and paste it to your folder then.
Now, you’ve got the video file. All you need now is to embed this file into the powerpoint. Do as follows.
In Powerpoint:
Go in menu: View->Toolbars->Control Toolbox. Find “More Controls” on the toolbar (right-bottom most button) and click it. Select “Windows Media Player” or your player from the list, click it. Cursor changes to a plus sign. Draw a rectangle. You should now see the Windows media player. You may resize it. Right click and select “Properties”.
Go in “Custom” property. Click a button that appears when you click in the Custom field. Windows media player properties will pop up. In general tab, in source group, click on the Browse button in front of File name or URL. Select your video/media file. Click OK.
(If you’re trying this out in Excel or Word, then before you go further, you have to switch the design mode off. In Powerpoint, you have to play the slideshow (F5 key) to let the video play; it won’t play otherwise).
Save the file, close it, open it again, and play the slideshow. Your movie should start by default, if it doesn’t, play it.
You may use hyperlinks. But you have to keep the linked files at their places, and carry them over.
However, by above method your video file goes with the powerpoint file. So, no need to worry about linking. You can send it over internet to friends.
This is how, the flash games, etc. can be sent embeded within Excel file or Powerpoint file or Word file. Just select the appropriate control from the More Controls list and rest things are quite similar.
How about this one
<script type=“text/javascript” src=“http://careertv.se/partner/widget2/?list_id=290&partner=742&homepage=181&width=480&height=360&border=1&scroll=1”></script>
Thanks
