Eating munchies that were expired in Janruary?
A few hours ago I went and grabbed a bag of munchies from the counter, not realizing until after that they expired in January? What are the possible outcomes of this?

Certain death. I’m so very sorry.
What variety of munchies?
Is your vision getting blurry? Do your eyes feel like they want to cross and switch sockets? Does your stomach hurt? Is there a ringing in your ears? No? Well then, you should be fine. no worries.
@AstroChuck is just fucking with your head.
Peanuts, chips, things that go crunch-probably just a little soggy
Yogurt, hard boiled eggs-just head for the bathroom now, soon things will take care of themselves
I think OP literally means the snack mix called Munchies (I’d link the wiki page, but it has parenthesis, and Fluther doesn’t like parenthesis).
You’re probably not in danger. I mean, it’s only like 50–50. Well, okay, 30–70, but still, you have a pretty good chance of living for another year or two. Alright, that’s an exaggeration, but you’ve at least got another month. And a half. No, scratch that, just a month.
You’ll be fine.
I’m sure they had preservatives, so you’re probably in no real danger.
Since all that junk is not real food anyway, it’s hard to imagine it doing any more real harm to you after its sell-by date.
Use common sense if its moldy your screwed , chances are there was nothing wrong with it . Retailers and manufacturers get carried away with BBD’s and such like .
If you didn’t notice something was up until after you checked the packet, then nothings wrong. Chocolate has a crapload of preservatives to keep them fresh for longer.
The manufacturer is going to be very angry with you since you have now proven that the date was fake just so they could sell more product.
