i plan on deciphering this question.
Nothing in particular planned. I missed it last year and the year before.
19th of Av, 5769 is today’s date according to the Hebrew calendar (in contrast to 8th of August, 2009 in the Gregorian calendar). I must admit, I don’t know what the significance of it is, or even what Yom Aleph is.
I plan to make this Yom Aleph better than last Yom Aleph by recognizing that it is Yom Aleph. Also by sitting on my bum playing computer games.
Aleph is the first letter of the Aleph-bet, and stands for “One” or “First”. Yom means Day. Today is the first day of the week. Yesterday was Shabbat, tomorrow will be Yom Bet (Day two.)
I recongized Aleph as being part of the Hebrew alphabet, but i wasn’t sure what the point of the whole thing was.
The point of the whole thing is to try to discover what people might try in order to make today better.
In honor of this day, I will do something helpful for a stranger. I know that’s kind of lame but I don’t normally approach people I don’t know.
I told someone in a great deal of pain how I care for them and got them to laugh a little while.
Rosaenne Aleph’s ex-husband.
he’s not very funny
I wish i had thought of dumping all the Cuban prisoners on the US,NOW THAT IS THE ALLTIME GREAT PLAN.
Well, I did the laundry and moved three boxes of books out of the living room and into storage. That improved things a bit.
@Noel_S_Leitmotiv You could have benefited from a few more dollars in your special effects budget. Other than that, you and Mr. Woods did a creditable job.
