I’m all for the classic cmd + w for closing windows… I don’t know how many times I use this throughout the day!
slide off the black keys onto the adjacent white ones instead of fingering them seperately.
Also, cmd-shft-W to close ALL open windows in an application at once.
Curious. Command + 1 opens Fluther. Command + 4 brings up my brokerage account. (Mac Leopard).

I haven’t seen command + L! I use it all the time to switch to the location-bar while browsing, it’s 10x faster then using the mouse, moving it there and double click it.
Plus I use a FF add-on that puts downloads in a sidebar. So I use comm. + J and comm. + B very frequently to switch between downloads and bookmarks.
Command + F- Fix it!
Command + B- Open new Beer.
Excel (windows):
Ctrl + c
Ctrl + v
Ctrl + directional arrows (goes to end of data range, or next data range)
” ” + shift (selects the range with Ctrl + directional arrows)

I fool around occasionally by holding down command, option or control and then hitting other keys at random. Of course, I don’t take notes or take note so can remember nothing. Milo will sit on keyboard and generate some interesting windows. He never tells, however. (Mac OSX).
I have a program I love called “Key Cue” that, after you hold down command for a set time, puts up a list of all the key commands available. You can then use the mouse to select them or just note them and enact them with your keys. I have learned so many with it.
Ctrl + Alt + Down Arrow (Usually only works on XP for Notebooks). This will turn your screen upside down and while that may not seem very useful it is funny as hell when you do it to an unsuspecting co-worker!
Cmd + Shift + 4 on a mac, because it lets you make a screenshot. Option-Shift-Command-Q, because you tell people to use the shortcut, and then laugh.
Command + I – Ignore Liberal Blowhard.
Command + TAB :)
CTRL + arrows (for spaces)
in photoshop
G
B
X
M
V
Command + T
SHIFT + dragging
Obviously it is Ctrl V. It lets me spam.
