I hit the back of my head last Thursday and have had pressure in both ears on and off since about an hour after the injury. I have also had bad headaches too. Any advice on what I can do to make the pressure stop?

Can you not go and see a doctor? There’s not a lot you can do at home to relieve ear pressure, trust me on this one!
I have an appointment but the soonest they could get me in is a week away.
Of course i don’t know how you value this pressures and headaches, ánd i am not a doctor, but if i imagined that i had this pressure and aches, i would defenitely go to see a doctor right away.
I mean, there’s brains and stuff in your head.
My aunt is a doctor and I called and talked to her but she couldn’t tell me much without seeing her but she lives far away. Anyways I have an appointment but I was hoping I could get some relief between now and then.
Hi; I’m an Audiologist.
If the pressure were associated with allergies or a head cold, I’d give you advice. But ear pressure and headaches following a head injury could be MUCH more serious. You need immediate care. Go to the Emergency Room, if necessary. If you have any doubt, Google Natasha Richardson and read about the details of her head injury and subsequent death.
@vcawrse: Hi… just checking in for follow-up. Did you see a physician and did they do any imaging studies? I hope that everything is alright.
