Only a negligible amount. Aspirin is no Coumadin or Plavix (prescription blood thinners/anti-coagulants), so I doubt there’s any serious risk of bleeding out.
They always caution that this should only be done under supervision of a Doctor who presumable knows your complete medical history and other medications which you take.
And from what I have read they recommend one BABY aspirin per day. That’s a pretty small amount so should not be a problem for a normally healthy person.
People normally bleed out due to the massive amount of trauma sustained from internal injuries or from a laceration to a major vein or artery. I really doubt if a baby aspirin would have made the slightest bit of difference one way or another for Princess Diana or countless others with similar injuries.
The 81mg aspirins that’s recommended for daily use isn’t enough to bother with that. Before major surgery 5 years ago, my surgeon even said to keep taking them. No risk there of causing bleeding.
Serious accidents are relatively rare compared to heart attacks. Drive safely!
