What's the best iPod Touch FM transmitter?
I’m looking for a good iPod Touch FM transmitter so I can play my music through my car’s speakers. Price doesn’t matter too much because I’ll probably ask for one for Christmas.

Also similar mentioned here tho this was iphone and i am unsure if they are compatible .
I’ve been looking into buying one also, this is the one I like.
This is what I have used for the past 3 years with no complaints. 3 presets, full spectrum, quite reliable.
Ooops! Sorry! My iPod is a Classic, not a Touch.
Doesn’t matter… they all use the headphone jack.
[Edit:] Errrr… well, except for those plug directly into the docking port. But then, they all use the same docking port anyway. It’s a wash.
I tried a couple of them, and they didn’t work very well. Hard to find an empty station in the Chicago area, and there was a lot of noise. I had to turn up the volume on both the player and the radio all the way, and what sound I did get was muffled. I’ve had better luck with a cassette adapter, but the solution is to get a head unit with a line in jack for an external source.
@IchtheosaurusRex makes a really good point.
Before you buy an FM transmitter, you should scan the available frequencies in your area. Even my extra powerful transmitter cannot completely drown out a local blowtorch broadcasting at 100,000 watts.
Most transmitters only work on a select 4–6 frequencies… usually at either extreme end of the spectrum. So make sure whatever you buy won’t conflict directly on every one of those few points.
I have a Belkin, which would work well except there are very few empty frequencies in my area. I found that the wired, cassette adapter works much better.
