Have you ever been stalked on/onto fluther?

I just had a user from here (now banned) stalk me on my blog. But that was the only real problem I have had on here in over two years. And I manage to piss a lot of people off too.

It’s happened elsewhere to me.
That sort of thing should never be allowed to happen.

So this individual, who was accusing me of being “spenn” on Askville (absurd) wrote two messages to me that I found when I checked my e-mail.

“Tbop wrote to you:

Too late Spenn,i have informed most people on here and i have reported you also.
You wont do on here what you got banned for on AV.

LEAVE US ALONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”

And:

“Tbop wrote to you:

YOU ARE ONE SICK INDIVIDUAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! STAY AWAY!!!!! SPENN!!!! YOU HAVE BEEN RUMBLED”

As I suspect that this person really is the individual known as spenn, using a name that implicates another AV person… It only gets weirder.

P.S. How do I know if I’ve been “rumbled?” Is it supposed to leave a mark or something?

I’ve noticed someone giving me lurve for almost everything I post. Like if they are just waiting for me to post so they can lurve me. O.o

I have had a problem with a user doing to me exactly what you described, but I contacted Fluther, and it was taken care of right away.

Ben also told that I have the dubious honor of receiving the first piece of PM spam when I reported that.

The world is fillded with trolls. Shake it off and move on.

I’ve seen it happen on another site I belong to, though I’m glad it’s never happened to me!

I’m impressed with the moderateration here, but I knida wish that I’d been able to see how absurd the comments got. People who are nuts like that give me the giggles. :)

I’ve often wondered how an individuals life can be so incomplete, and meaningless, that a person would spend even one moment tracking someone else down via the Internet. Granted, I have had numerous run-ins with people before, but none was so astute as to impact me so greatly that I could give them another thought.

Clearly, this person is damaged goods, and surely has some deep-seated issues. The expenditure of vital mental energy chasing someone through Cyberspace is the height of narcissistic, passive aggressive bumfriggery that an adult could participate in.

Take solice in one thing; this person’s motivation stems from an intellectual and academic superiority on the part of the stalked. This person feels beaten, outclassed, outloved, and sometimes helplessly dominated by people who could not possibly affect their life.

Such people are an unfortunate waste of good drinking water and clean air. Leave more for us, Stalker Dude!!!

@drdoombot and @Tink1113 I have been lurving you two with abandon lately, just to drive you batty. Its not stalking, its lurving.

The last time I was stalked was on xanga, and it was by some fundamentalist Christian type that copied my name by changing one letter to a number in my xanga name and used some personal information (like my wife’s first name) on his page. He also went to my subbies and left his biblical verse drivel all over the place.

I kept after the xanga gods to do something about it, but eventually I had to abandon my Egregious_One name and use something new. I changed it to Zebra_Slut. The godbot finally gave up after he found out that too many people were onto his antics.

There is an individual, let’s call him “FG,” who was probably behind this mess. It reeks of much of his characteristic nastiness. :P

Just wanted to publicly post what makes perfect sense to many AV expatriates.

Update: The member who most likely stalked me onto fluther has been removed from Askville for posting my real name.

Ugh, Askville stalkers suck. Especially when they come in droves.
