How do you reduce eye puffyness overnight?
What is a good way to reduce eye puffyness after crying? Is there anything that may work overnight? I don’t have any eye drops so that option is out =\

calm down
get some sleep
deal with what it was in the morning with a clear head and calmed nerves
youre eyes should be normal in the morning
two really cold spoons resting on your eyes, or an ice pack layed across with a towel on your eyes :]
I had a friend who told me that, using cool wet tea bags work, and letting them sit for 15 minutes
I usually just rinse my eyes out with cool tap water to reduce the inflammation and remove the salt from my eye area (a by-product of tears). Blowing your nose is also a good idea for me as it simultaneously relieves congestion from crying and keeps the “stuffed up feeling” from showing up in the morning. Kind of clears the air passages, you know?
By the way, sorry you are/were crying. Hope it is better for you.
Hey! I definitely use K Cream. It’s green cream that you can buy at most stores – I’ve used to brand from CVS and it isn’t phenomenal, but it works decently. I prefer either the Victoria Secret kind (it’s usually behind the counter) or the Olay kind. They’re both great!
Tea bags or cucumber slices.
Witch hazel can help too.
“Witch Hazel / Rose water Eye Press- Use a cotton or wool pad as an eye press. Soak the pad in either witch hazel or rose water. Close eyes and leave eye pads on for 15–20 minutes.” Source
Vichy has a great stick for this.
If you concentrate, you can convince yourself that your eyes will no longer be puffy, and soon they won’t be. And it’s free.
Preparation H. Usually used for hemoroids, but very effective on bags under the eyes.
Beauty pagent contestants do this.
@jfos What do you base that piece of crap on?
It is possible that @jfos got that idea from where the Preparation H usually goes.
Thanks guys for all your help, I feel better today. And the amusement going on towards the end here made me feel better as well haha =]
