Motorcycle dealers often have events that you could go check out. They usually post event calendars on their web pages.

Meetup.com that I referred you to for hiking groups also has motorcycle groups that might accept non-riders… you’d have to check their pages out individually to see which ones might be cool with that.

Riders usually mention that they have a bike in their dating profiles, so if you’re on any online dating sites, you could search by keywords: motorcycle or Harley or bike or hog, etc.

@hearkat: when I get some extra cash I was planning on buying a used motorcycle and getting my license. That might be the best way. I will check out meetup.com for this new topic (lots of great hiking groups). I will also use those keywords on the dating site I joined. Thanks!

@evelyns_pet_zebra: Refer your brother to Meetup.com; it’s not a dating site. It is a site for groups to organize based on specific interests. There are many motorcycle clubs.

@Jack79: it is by far not my only criteria. I love riding and would like to have that in common with someone I am dating.

Personally, I’d try to find someone that generally matches my taste (and interests), and this could be done on any dating site. Then, I’d ask them to go for a bike ride with me. I’m sure if you had a boyfriend, he’d be more than happy to do it for you (even with a rented bike). It’s not as if you’re asking him to go shopping or something.

Similarly, I’d like to have a girlfriend who likes board games. But, rather than going on D&D sites looking for female players, I just try to find any girl that is nice, cute, friendly, hopefully intelligent and maybe likes the same music I do. If she happens to enjoy similar hobbies as I do, it would certainly be a perk. If not, I can always still play with my male friends (meaning that in your case, you could still just go on a bike ride alone if your boyfriend turns out to be a total nerd). Just saying.
