My 2006 MacBook is running bootcamp and works fine.
Yes, in fact I need to install it soon so I can run AutoCad 2009 on my mac.
Chris Pirillo shows you how to do it here.
Triple booting Mac OS X, Windows 7 and Ubuntu ftw! :)
If I recall the nomenclature correctly, all MacBooks have Intel chips. The Intel chip is the critical requirement for being able to run Bootcamp.
Previously, Apple used PowerPC chips. But the laptops built with those were called PowerBooks instead.
Indeed! Like @robmandu said any Mac since the Intel Chip switch can run both.
If it runs the OS leopard or snow leopard, then it probably can.

If it runs Snow Leopard 10.6 (not released yet), then indeed it can run Boot Camp as Snow Leopard can only run on Intel-based Macs. However, the current release of Mac OS X – called Leopard 10.5 – will run on either Intel-based or on PowerPC-based Macs.
Point is, you cannot make a determination of ability to run Boot Camp simply on whether you’re running 10.5.
