I'm moving to San Diego with the military and was wondering nice places to live close to NAVSTA Naval Base.

Looking for nice places to live in San Diego around the Navy Base.

Welcome to Fluther. I am betting that you are a pro at moving. Still, it’s always not fun.

From my knowledge of San Diego, that area just around the base is not the best.

It might help folks answer if they knew whether schools matter to you. Also, are you looking to buy or rent, single family home or apartment.
