Have you ever been logged out of Fluther in the middle of an answer?

Asked by IchtheosaurusRex (8681points) August 19th, 2009

I was crafting an answer to a question when I saw my own avatar in a green box, stating that I was crafting a response. Then it went away. I finished my answer, clicked “submit” and then nothing. My answer was wiped out. I clicked on my new questions link, and found that I had been logged out.

Is this a bug or a feature?

Strange, I’ve never heard of that happening nor encountered it myself.

Yes! It’s happened a couple times recently. I think it’s a bug with my computer though, because Firefox is always prompting me to clear my browsing history/cookies/and a bunch of other things. And it messes up my IE.

Yes, it’s only happened to me once but I had just written a REALLY long response to something and then I was logged out. Irritating!

That’s a new one , did you use the contact button or a mod to see if it was at fluthers end ?

Was this today?

@andrew , it was yesterday. I don’t know if it was just my cookie expiring or what. It’s the first time it’s happened here.
