What's the most useful Photoshop tutorial you've found online?

Asked by theichibun (2237points) August 19th, 2009

I’m concerned with the usefulness in both the end result and the usefulness of the tutorial itself. I personally like text over video, but it’s only a slight thing and I don’t have a problem with video at all.

You should check this out. You say you prefer text, but give it a try.

@Sarcasm I second that choice…but watch all of them, too.

I’m not exactly sure what you’re looking for in a Ps tutorial, but you may look at Photoshop Killer Tips, a podcast on iTunes. The guy who does it gives all sorts of useful tips that I use frequently, such as non-destructive dodge and burn. Crazy useful.

PsdTuts.com has tons of useful one’s I’ve found. I like text with screenshots

Mostly video but take a look at National Association of Photoshop Professionals NAPP They give some outstanding one-day seminars and are used to presenting/teaching effectively.

LATE!

iceflowstudios.com – or tutcast.com. Howard Pinsky is the main man when it comes to photoshop in my opinion, cause he’s been using PS since God knows how long ago.
Also – old but good is the Youtube “You Suck At Photoshop” series, which whilst not exactly professional, certainly taught the fundamentals of photoshop in a way that is simply not forgettable in any hurry – it’s funny stuff.
