What do you call the sticky stuff that holds a cd to magazine cover ?
The clear stuff that is like a glue / silicon type stuffs , it is kindof reusable and mildly tacky . Just enough to hold the cd to the magazine , say like the Terrorizer magazine or a total guitar magazine .
I call it Monkey spunk but i can’t seem to find it online , i have no clue why i call it that apart from hearing someone a long time ago call it that . What is it’s proper name , if not monkey spunk or whatever you call it ?

I don’t know. But I think I know what you’re talking about. I stick them to the inside of my nostrils and pretend they’re boogers.
cow gum…often used in art displays as stuff can be reposition without to damage if booth surfaces are gloss
Cow gum is for permanent mounting , this stuff ain’t like that .

I don’t know what it’s called, but I just wanted to say that the magazine-glue-stuff is one of those little things I get a disproportionate amount of happiness from.

Sounds to me like you are those that like pilling off glues and start squashing them into tiny balls.
It’s referred to as either glue dots or peel and stick glue, depending on the geographic area and shape of the product. Typically, the round ones are called glue dots and the long stringy ones are called peel and stick. gluedots.com is a good place to look for it.
