Painted Letters on Medical Alert Bracelet?

I wear a medical alert bracelet and one of the consistent problems that I’ve had with them is that the red painted letters always wear away fairly quickly, leaving the bracelet and letters all the same uniform steel color. If you look real close and are careful you can certainly read what the bracelet says, but in an emergency I’d much rather have the certainty that an EMT can easily read my bracelet.
Does anyone know of a way to afix the ink in the engraving and assure that the paint stays on and doesn’t wear off?

I would seek out a company like this
They create Cloisonné Medical Alert Pins an I am sure they also create bracelets.
Here are some where the text is engraved, so it won’t wear away.
It depends entirely on where you get the bracelet from. There are styles that are permanent, but the free ones usually are not the best quality.
No, no, the text is engraved. The paint is filled into the engraving. The paint wears away, leaving only the steel engraving with no color.
The only thing I can think of is maybe putting a coat of clear nail polish over it every so often.
@ralex Mine has a black substance, which might be paint, embedded inside the engraving, and it does not wear away.
@augustlan Yes, I was going to suggest the same thing.
If you coat it with clear nail polish that will lengthen the time before it wears off, but not eliminate the wearing off. You will also need to renew the nail polish periodically.
Something a bit more 21st century might be to go for one of these since paramedics and police have laptops in the field.
In between the two extremes, there are these, which the color is unlikely to wear off of.
It’s completely different in appearance, but you might find laser engraving to last longer. I’ve got something from Road ID that I’ve been very pleased with so far.
I belong to MedicAlert.com and I have a stainless steel medallion without color that is very clear to anyone looking at it.
In addition, I have a sticker on my car windshield, a GLARING card in my wallet behind my license, and something on my keychain.
When I go to the gym, I ALSO put on a bracelet.
