Do you enjoy stupidity?

I greatly enjoy answering complex, intellectual questions that stress the mind, but sometimes I love to see a completely (pardon my language) dumbass question that is so easy to answer you actually laugh. i just find it refreshing, even though i have no problem at all with hard questions all the time. Anyone else like this?

I find stupid questions irritating, and skip them.
@XOIIO Allow me to introduce you to @Astrochuck. : D
it depends. i prefer silly questions over stupid questions.
i consider stupid questions anything that gets the exact answer the person is looking for on the first result google pulls up.
Silly questions, that involve using your imagination are fun. Stupid questions, like what to cook for dinner or should I tell my boyfriend to take a hike, or some such nonsense brings out the ‘ornery’ in me.
I was going to ask a question last night about if anyone had ever considered what it might be like to be a tree, but couldn’t figure out a way to get my point across without leaving an entire novella in the details.
I try to avoid all forms of stupidity, if possible.
My daddy always told me there was no such thing as a stupid question.
hmmmph…
Having asked stupid questions in my time I cannot “dis” them. Sometimes they are a good refresher after those pseudo-intellectual, 3 chapter long questions.
wouldn’t i be on Yahoo! Answers if i did?
I’m not claiming I’m smart, I am just saying i enjoy harder questions to answer.
@XOIIO Then why the stupid question?

It is not a stupid question, I am simply curious. Most of my questions are not just finding out about the topic, but if any other people have the same opinion as me as well, even if i don’t say that in the question.
@johnpowell, i greatly dislike your actions, and take offense to them. What you are trying to imply i greatly immature, and if you can not keep those kinds of opinions to yourself, that is a sad, sad thing.
@jonsblond, OK<, I understand.
@XOIIO don’t worry, bub. just don’t yourself to seriously, even if others do. you’ll find life a lot more pleasant if you don’t have your head up your own ass.

@XOIIO see? that’s exactly what you need to avoid

@XOIIO well, that’s unlikely to happen. but if you just stay chill, it’s all good.
@eponymoushipster i completely agree, the way to handle these people is to stay calm and not retaliate. I actually find it quite humorous that he is trying to offend me.
I wonder, would anybody actually be sad if all his lurve was removed? I don’t think I’d really care, to be honest – it would be sad if I couldn’t receive any anymore, though.
[mod says] Personal attacks are not permitted and have been removed.
@augustlan I thank you, and am sorry that these conversations have taken up your time.
According to Forrest Gump, “Stupid is as stupid does.” That might work for him but it doesn’t apply to me. I’m neither stupid now nor have I been stupid in the past. In essence, I don’t enjoy gratuitous stupidity.
As far as stupid questions go, I rarely answer them or skip over them altogether.
In general I don’t really enjoy stupid questions. But my definition of a stupid question varies. I prefer questions that allow me to reflect upon my knowledge and communicate in a way that gives value to both myself and someone reading this message. This question, for example, gives the appearance of being a question with little value, but in fact I am getting value in typing these words. Just another example of how in life things are not necessarily what they seem.
A question that is easily Googleable, now that is a question that is stupid, because one can find the answer for themselves with ease and thus they insult everyone’s attention and time by asking such menial things.
TO everyone here, i believe i must clarify, not from requests but because i simply feel i must. I must say that when I say stupidity, I simply mean questions that are very easy, or, to an extent not difficult to answer, and not questions that are literally stupid, such as asking things that can be resolved by google. I am sorry for the confusion, and the fact that i can’t clarify better for you.
i completely agree with @dynamicduo
I eat stupidity for breakfast. Which kinda makes me half-cannibalist
I’m wondering if you mean daffy or looney rather than stupid? The word stupid is one that lends itself to a large number of meanings, and some of them are not particularly acceptable on the internet. I love looney questions.
I like stupid questions because it gives me the opportunity to be sarcastic or to make fun. I hate stupid questions because I am tired of seeing them.
Judging by the amount of lurve (or lack thereof), most of my efforts fall flat. A few hit, but not nearly as many as Astrochuck gets. I get tired of seeing the same questions all the time, and when they are particularly poorly asked, I’ll often tee off.
Sometimes I’ll tell weird made-up stories. Sometimes I’ll try to make a quip.
I know that newbies usually don’t bother to research their questions, and I can skip them if I want. I know they probably won’t understand if I do a Borat. Maybe some people will get it, but it seems like a lot of deadpan humor passes right over people’s head here (including mine). But, for some reason, I can’t always pass over the questions. Maybe it’s just a mood thing. If I’m in the mood for vicious humor, I’ll take it on; otherwise I can let other, more kind, people deal with it.
