To rebel and repel and smell
To learn as much about the world as I possibly can, eventually learning enough to make my own contribution to the annals of human understanding.
To live it in every sense of the word.
answering clichéd questions, evidently.
No purpose. Free agent and all that.
That would depend on who in my life you ask.
My spouse would say that we complete one another.
My younger kids would say to read them stories and take them to the pool.
My teenager would day hat I was there to control her life and refuse her money.
But I would say to create art that moves the soul and transcends time. Works that will survive far longer than me and will make people laugh or think far beyond this generation.
To travel all over and to see Pearl Jam as many times as I can before I die
To make fun of people who ask questions without having researched whether the question has been asked and answered a billion times before.
Nyeh!
Sorry. Must be feeling my oats today! ;-)
Apparently to be as obnoxious as possible.
To invent the dripless peanut butter and honey sandwich.
@AstroChuck I gotta wonder how I’d stack up against you if people were voting. I bet I’d win! You may be obnoxious, but you’re still very nice.
To do ameliorative work, and to love.
To document it with my camera. To leave it having caused the least amount of impact and pain. To help others know that it’s OK to cry. To love.
truly i have none…or none that i can discern
so i shall please myself as best i can without hurting others
Some people more than others. I know what it feels like to be happy, and I havent had much of that at all. But I don’t even live for that, I feel I have a purpose, and to suffer was required. Happier now.
See this is why I feel that what we do affects what happens after we die.
Oh my purpose, read the question wrong. To start a Green School, a school to study environmental studies, and renewal producers, such as wind and solar. And survival skills in case global chaos breaks out, how to maintain self suffieciency why the old transition, hopefully.
To contribute somehow, spin the Dharma wheel with all my might…
For my own sake as much as anything
Serve ‘da Lord
Smoke a ton of marijuana
Tikkun Olam – To repair or perfect the world. In other words, leave it better than I found it.
Related to that: to not do unto others what I would not have done unto myself.
To enjoy life, in the many forms it can be enjoyed: work to be proud of, art to be admired, relationships to be treasured, etc.
There are two quotes I admire greatly.
One of which was by Miguel de Unamuno y Jugo, a Spanish philosopher and writer.
“Procuremos más ser padres de nuestro porvenir que hijos de nuestro pasado.” (Translation, We should try to be the parents of our future rather than the offspring of our past.)
The other one is the Foreword to a great album by a British electronic duo, VNV Nation:
“This is your world. These are your people. You can live for yourself today, or help build tomorrow for everyone.”
The only aspiration I have ever had was to repair the world.
To make offspring!
Oh, and to have wonderful relationships with my loved ones, constantly increase my understanding of the world to feed my curiosity, and have a grand and wonderful experience

To have fun. I love learning new things and applying that knowledge.
To fulfill my purpose. I believe everyone has one, some just don’t see it until they get much older.
How about I’ll let you know when I find out :)
To enjoy each and every day to the fullest and live an honest and productive life in whatever way suits me the best.
to make life better for those I love and for those I don’t love

I don’t know, I haven’t made it yet.
