Yeah, all of them have. A vast majority of shows now are reality shows about singing, dancing, celebrities, or spoiled rich people. Intelligent, original, creative shows are getting harder and harder to find (although there are still some great ones out there).

News programming may even be worse, as the focus drifts away from real news stories to stupid polls and reports about the personal lives of politicians. Watch any major news network now, any see how much of their time they devote to reading unimportant twitter comments from the average viewer, instead of reporting on actual news. TV is in a sad, sad state.

I stick with stuff like the science channel, nfl network, the history channel comedy central, etc… those things don’t really have “wiggle room” with how good or bad they can get.

Wouldn’t know, I’ve long since abandoned broadcast television. It’s a waste of my time and money. I get my information and entertainment from other more proper sources that don’t have an incentive to feed me scare tactics and commercials.

I stick with all the good channels. History, Discovery, Science, Planet Green, Comedy Central and all the great stuff. I hate reality shows with a passion. I think the best news shows are The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, and The Colbert Report. They tell the real news and make fun of other news networks for telling pointless stuff. There are a few good shows on the main networks such as 30 Rock, The Office, and Lost.

the only show i make an effort to watch that is still recorded is project runway.
i think there are a few other good shows, but most of them are trash. i.e. nearly every show they talk about on the soup.

News programming is soooo bad right now!
For example this summer one had as opening news: “Bombs at the elections”.
That news item lasted about 30secs – 1 minute, the other 29 minutes where about summer heath or celebrities!

Yes. For example, hosts of shows peddling. Especially a doctor (Dr. OZ) peddling!! “You are all going home with…..!!” They didn’t used to do that before.
