For 18 - 21 year olds: Do you feel that you had an impact in the last election?
I am doing a project for work and need to find out if your generation feels as if they had an impact in the last election or not? FEELS being the operative word.

I guess you are talking about the elections held in the United Arab Emirates?
HAHA, oh my bad! I totally forgot about globality here. I’m sorry, I meant the US elections, which I tagged but didn’t specify!
And my bad too, since i failed to read your tags.
Now, let’s see how many 18–21 years olds we have here.
well I voted, so yes? Anyone who casts a ballot has an effect. But in this recent election yes, more 18–24 year olds voted than in years past.
Yeah I had a tremendous effect…
(the guy I voted for got about 1% of the vote)
i guess i meant, do you FEEL that you actually had an impact in changing the way our country is going, that you feel empowered by it, hopeful for the future? Was this election different for you than any others (if you could vote before)? Were you waiting and excited to vote? If there were different candidates would you have cared less? More details please if you like
Interestingly enough, this was my first election (that I could vote in).
It’s difficult to feel you made a difference when there are soo many people voting.
I sort of feel like part of a minority, here—I’d rather vote for Harold Saxon for PM than really care about the US presidency. (I kid, I kid.)
No I didn’t feel as if I had an impact at all.
Perhaps if Ron Paul had made at least a dent in the Democrats or “Republicans”, I would’ve felt as such.
ummm… no. i live in kansas and we’ve never voted democrat as a state. so i had no say whatsoever.
