How do I keep the tip of my superglue bottle from drying out?
The tip always dries out after you open it, even if the cap has a needle. I have tried to puncture this layer with a new needle and safety pins, but usually this layer is very hard and I damage the tube, getting glue everywhere. How do I solve this problem, or prevent it from happening in the first place?

Before you close the tip, make sure you have wiped away any remaining glue at the very tip. Put a small amount of Vaseline on the tip, then close it.
The Vaseline prevents any remaining glue from adhering to the tip and provides a better seal so air can’t get into the tip.
@PerryDolia that IS a good suggestion. What I do is put a push pin in the end of it when I’m done, but your solution is better.
i usually put a push pin in the top of the bottle, but perrydolia’s idea sounds so much better.
Edit: damn it jbfletcherfan :P
@uberbatman LOLLLLLLLLLL. MY clicker finger was faster than yours. ’-)
you can take a lighter and burn out the needle. worked for my plastic cement.
My dad takes a small piece of flat, hard plastic, and puts some of the glue on there and places it over the tip. When he wants to use it again, he just tears the plastic off (obviously its not grocery bag-plastic, its like the crap that an Xbox 360 controller might come in, that you have to cut open and I usually get cut by the plastic. The tough plastic).
