What should be included in a colonial (New England) stock prospectus/pamphlet?

Asked by cyn (6918points) August 30th, 2009

My teacher wants us to do a pamphlet about colonial (17th and 18th century) stock. We are suppose to have 3 major arguments that would encourage investors to send money to our region. I have…
1. geography and town developement
2. Ethnic, religious, education issues
3. Social indicators (family, leisure, food)
I’m doing it about New England since I know more about that region.
I asked the teacher if he had any examples for this assignment and he said “no” since I don’t know what a pamphlet looks like. I googled it and it didn’t work.

I just want to know what should be included in this pamphlet.

Look online for offers to sell lakefront property and you should get the idea of the tone the project should take. The tone should be like this or this. You want to talk about what the region has to offer, and what they can expect to get back in return. You are selling investors on the natural resources of the area, and what they can get back in return for putting currency into the region. Think about why the colonies were settled in the first place, and what were the reasons for the westward expansion.

This is a good project, and will take a lot of thoughtful work.
