What kind of hiking are you looking for? Scenic day hikes? Long backpacking trips? Wilderness areas? Something closer to a major urban areas? Oregon has all kinds of hikes—let us know what kind of thing you’re interested in.
I don’t know much about Oregon, but make sure you bring a mouse and a mouse pad incase you need to hunt…
I live in Oregon, in the Willamette valley. The best advice I can give you is to point you to a series of books by William Sullivan, with titles like “100 Hikes in Northwest Oregon”, “100 Hikes on the Oregon Coast”, you get the gist, right?
I own the book for the region where I live, and we consult it frequently. The author rates the hikes for how strenuous they are, gives you good directions for how to get to the trailhead, there’s a topograhical drawing for each, and lots more info. Here’s a link to Amazon for the coastal book to give you an idea.

there is a new free website called Sierra Club Trails that I would recommend – it’s a wiki where you can search for trails in your area, and you can also add your own trails and/or edit trails that are currently on there. http://www.sierraclubtrails.org
I live in Portland and agree with MagsRags. We own several editions of Sullivan’s books. If you would like some specific help, let us know where you might be in Oregon to point you in the right direction. There’s everything from mountain hiking, to coastal to desert environments.
Cape Lookout State Park Tillamook Oregon. The trail is out a peninsula thru a coastal temperate rainforest. Crazy banana slugs crawling around.
@buster that Cape Lookout hike is a beautiful one. And there’s a place where you can dive off the trail and climb down to some sea caves.
