Anal probing. I heard it hurts a little
Fear is a survival mechanism in the wild.
People fear what they perceive to be a threat. The problem is that many of the things we fear are not a direct threat to our survival.
Fear leads to anger which leads to violence.
Fear however, can be conquered with knowledge.
The day they stop making Tootsie Rolls!
Wild animals with sharp incisors who live near your house.
Bad guys.
And our own imagination.
Not to mention environmental disaster and nuclear annihilation.
Oh, and bugs.
The unknown, the unfamiliar, fear itself, the boogy man, monsters under the bed and that’s just referring to humanity!
Lets not forget the zombies.
The fact that we have absolutely no idea what the future holds or whether our attempts to influence it in a beneficial way will do any good or not.
Besides, there really is something under the bed that eats stray socks.
People who who are manipulated by the rhetoric of the right.
Fear as such isn’t a plague of mankind, it’s a blessing hard-wired into our brains. You and I and everyone else are descendants of prudent folks. It’s excessive fear which can become a problem.
