Can anyone tell me how the lottery works? Is there a lottery that sells ticket all over the country? Or is it per state?

I will check those website out. thank you. Anyone here actually plays the game? how much does it cost? when do they draw the numbers? and where do you check what numbers where drawn? is it televised? or placed in the newspapers?

I don’t play, but my mother does. The price depends on how many times you bet. If I’m not wrong they’re drawn on a Friday or on a Saturday, not sure. You can check the drawn numbers almost everywhere: TV, newspapers, magazines.. There’s even an app that shows you those numbers!

The powerball is all over the country, right? Thats the one thats always like, an insane amount. And everyone who wins it goes crazy because they don’t know what to do with all that money!!!!! Or at least I watched a show a while ago and that’s what it made it sound like. But aside from the powerball, I think it’s mostly just limited to a certain state.

I meander around that site all the time when I’m bored. it gives you a nice little overview of virtually any topic I can come up with, and in most cases it’s relatively simple english so if it’s a subject your not already familiar with you can understand it as a layman.

There are so many variates of the game, in every state, that there is no simple answer to that question. In California, we can purchase a lottery ticket from other states, or even other countries, and there are several different versions of the game sponsored by the State as well.

Powerball seems to be the biggest of them all. When do they draw that? and its televised, may I please know what channel do they air it and what time? and what time? I really need the specific details. Its six numbers right?
