Is there pain after a talonavicular fusion has healed?

I have constant pain from a falling arch and arthritis in my right foot. I would like to hear from someone who has had a talonavicular fushion. What is it like after the surgery has healed? how long does it take to heal? Is there any pain once it is healed? I was very active before this started so what I am asking is there life after foot fusion?
